Flowing out of Lake Bohinj beneath the Julian Alps, the Sava Bohinjka is a clear, productive river of brown trout, rainbows, and large grayling — the classic Slovenian mixed fishery, at its best from the Danica hatch of late spring through the grayling days of autumn.
