An extremely small micro dry fly (down to size 32) imitating the tiniest pale midges and mayflies that selective trout key on. At this scale the dressing is reduced to essentials: a wisp of pale dubbing and a few turns of light hackle. Advanced, specialized pattern for technical tailwater/spring-creek fishing.
1. Start the finest Cream Thread with a few wraps.
2. Form a tiny tapered Cream Dubbing body over the rear two-thirds.
3. Tie in a small Cream Hackle by the tip.
4. Take 2-3 turns for a minimal collar; secure and trim.
5. Whip finish a tiny head (cement usually omitted at this scale).
