1. Thread base — Attach yellow thread behind the eye and build a base to the bend.
2. Shuck — Tie in a short bunch of amber Z-Lon at the bend, extending one hook-gap rearward.
3. Body — Dub a slim, tapered sulfur yellow body from the shuck forward to the 2/3 point.
4. Wing — Stack a substantial bunch of natural deer hair. Tie in at the 2/3 point, post with wraps in front, and fan 180 degrees into a Comparadun wing.
5. Thorax — Dub a small sulfur yellow thorax on each side of the wing base.
6. Head — Whip finish and apply head cement.
