The Irresistible body style pairs with Adams coloring for an unsinkable attractor dry. Spun and clipped deer hair creates a body that floats like a cork through heavy pocket water.
1. Thread base — Attach gray thread behind the eye and build a base to the bend.
2. Tail — Tie in a small bunch of moose body hair fibers at the bend.
3. Body — Spin 2–3 clumps of deer body hair on the rear half of the shank and clip to a full, round shape. The body should be roughly oval in cross-section.
4. Wings — At the 2/3 point, tie in two matched grizzly hackle tips upright and divided with figure-eight wraps.
5. Hackle — Tie in one grizzly and one brown hackle behind the wings. Wind both interleaved through the thorax area. Tie off and trim.
6. Head — Build a small, neat head. Whip finish and apply head cement.
